Alex is our head guide and founder. Growing up on the Cottonwood Ranch, Alex has spent most of his life exploring the unique and beautiful fishing spots of Southwest Wyoming, as well as honing his skills as a fly fishing enthusiast. His enthusiasm for fly fishing and teaching others only grows when he sees the joy and excitement of his clients when they reel in their catch.
Charles
Charles, the owner of the Cottonwood Ranch, is a well-respected guide who knows these rivers like the back of his hand. His love of fly fishing and passion for the outdoors has not only been passed down to his sons but also extends to his successful work as a Western artist.
Sam
Sam is a Wyoming-based fishing guide with a passion for the outdoors and creating meaningful experiences on the water. He works with anglers of all skill levels—from first-timers to seasoned fishermen—and takes pride in making each trip both productive and enjoyable. Whether teaching the basics, refining technique, or putting clients on active fish, his goal is to leave you more confident and with a trip worth remembering. With years spent in Wyoming’s backcountry and surrounding waters, Sam brings deep knowledge of local fisheries, seasonal patterns, and proven techniques.
